In case it is of any interest to anyone in the Club, Adobe had just released a downloadable and fully working version of the beta of Lightroom 3.

Although it is a beta, I've been using it for a few days and I haven't experienced any bugs, problems or crashes.

The beta will continue to work fully until next Spring, when the the release version appears; at that time, the beta version will cease to work.

Good one Will. Thats me downloaded it and had a look around. Whats the chances of a tutorial from yourself and/or Stuart at one of the proposed beginners nights.

I'd be happy to do so, Allan - although perhaps I should note that those "few days" I mentioned above are the sum total of my experience with Lightroom lol. All the same, the basics are very similar to Aperture (with which I am much more familiar) and it's been a few SOLID days of playing with it. In that time, I've already decided to move over from Aperture to Lightroom.

So yes, I'd be happy to.

Lightroom is truely, one of the the "killer" apps for any level of photographer...

Perhaps *you* should do a presentation at one of the members' evenings and walk us through your workflow?
